Because we know that, when we work together, we can make a huge difference to bring lasting improvements to vulnerable children\'s lives.

A bit about the role

We\'re Bucks Activity Project, one of over 400 services in the Action for Children family. We are passionate about providing community short breaks to children with disabilities and additional needs for children aged 0-19. Our aim is to give every child customised opportunities to have fun, build skills and promote independence at their pace, underpinned by a welcoming, responsive and skilled administrative team that supports our staff, families and partners.

How you\'ll help to create brighter futures

Although experience of working with children and part of a team to support children and young people is desirable, you don\'t need to have previous qualifications. All we ask is that you have a positive attitude and desire to give the best care to children and young people with an understanding of safeguarding and how to communicate effectively with others.

If you have experience in childcare, baby-sitting, volunteering in a Nursery or Early Years environment, or a Room Leader looking for a new challenge, or you have been looking after a sibling or a child with a learning disability we want to talk to you!

If you want to apply - please let us know about your childcare experience, and ability to interact with and look after and protect young children. This will enhance your application\xe2\x80\xa6
