Job description
We are recruiting 2 newly qualified (or those due to graduate in 2026) and experienced qualified and SWE registered social workers to join us here in Sheffield's children's services. We have an exceptional ASYE offer in addition to a specific newly qualified social work training pathway.
Our ASYE offer includes one to one support from a social work consultant, support from a line manager, study days, networking sessions, master classes provided by social work experts and a phased protected low caseload during the 12 month ASYE programme.
If you haven't completed your ASYE yet and are wishing to relocate then that isn't a problem as we will pick up where you left off. Already passed your ASYE but looking for another job? No problem - we will support you so that you can progress to being a senior social worker through our fast track career pathway.
We welcome applications from those who left the children and families social work profession some time ago. If you would like to return to social work, we will help you to regain your SWE registration through a bespoke support package.
We have stable management teams with no agency workers and can offer you continuous support, guidance and reflective supervision allowing you to grow and develop through your career. If you are successful at interview, a post will be offered to you based on your experience and the needs of the service.
