Are you passionate about helping children and young people reach their full potential? We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Workers to join our growing team in Cheadle.
You will support young people with learning difficulties and emotional and behavioural needs, providing care in a nurturing and therapeutic environment. Our aim is to create safe, stable homes where young people can develop, heal, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care within a residential setting.
Provide emotional, social, and practical support tailored to individual needs.
Create and implement personalised care plans and structured daily routines.
Encourage independence, develop life skills, and promote positive behaviour.
Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a safe, welcoming home environment.
Transport young people to school, appointments, and activities (driving required).
Keep accurate records in line with safeguarding and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Resilient, empathetic, and proactive approach to care.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
Willingness to work towards an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (if not already qualified).
Previous experience in residential childcare is preferred but not essential.
