Support Worker
with our brand new young client in
Stoke-on-Trent.
What you'll be doing:
This role is to support a 10 year old boy with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. The role will involve escorting him in a taxi to and from school, and supporting him in his family home and taking out for trips in the community. You will always be working alongside another support worker for all your shifts.
Full training, shadow shifts and ongoing support will be provided.
When you'll be working:
Weekdays (Monday-Friday): 2 hr shift in the mornings (8am-10am) and 8 hr shift in the afternoon evening (2pm-10pm)
Sundays: 8am-10pm shift
The above hours are for term time and in the school holidays will change to Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun (8am-10am) and Tues, Thurs (8am-6pm)
Part Time or Full Time available, depending how many shifts a week you are looking for
What you'll have:
Passion for working with young people
Previous experience managing challenging behaviour desirable
What to look forward to:
up to 13.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Full specialist training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support from the Care Manager provided
