Children's Support Workers

to provide essential care, guidance, and emotional support to children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, emotional or behavioural challenges, or in care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day emotional and physical support in a safe and nurturing environment Promote independence and positive behaviour through structured routines and activities Assist with personal care, mealtimes, and education-based tasks as needed Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with families, social workers, and other professionals Uphold safeguarding and child protection standards at all times

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience working with children or young people (residential care, schools, or support services) A calm, compassionate, and patient approach Good communication and teamwork skills Flexible availability A valid children's

PVG

(Protecting Vulnerable Groups) certificate Relevant qualifications (SVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent) are desirable
