Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker with a focus on children's services? We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Children's SW - CIC Team in Yorkshire. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Building strong relationships with children and their families to promote engagement and trust.
  • Working closely with other professionals, including teachers, health workers, and law enforcement, to ensure comprehensive support for children in care.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families, particularly in a statutory context.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and adults alike.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
