Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker with a focus on children's services? We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Children's SW - CIC Team in Yorkshire. In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in supporting children in care and ensuring their well-being and development. You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to create a safe and nurturing environment for our children.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
Building strong relationships with children and their families to promote engagement and trust.
Working closely with other professionals, including teachers, health workers, and law enforcement, to ensure comprehensive support for children in care.
Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
Registration with Social Work England.
Experience working with children and families, particularly in a statutory context.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and adults alike.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
