Job Description

Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Child Protection Team in Cheshire as a Qualified Social Worker and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for:

Conducting assessments to identify the needs and risks of children and families.

Managing a caseload of children and families, providing ongoing support and interventions.
Working closely with external agencies, including schools, healthcare providers, and law enforcement.
Documenting casework and maintaining accurate records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

Hold a recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
Be registered with Social Work England.
Demonstrate experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
Exhibit strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Have the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
