Job Description

The Dudley MASH Team is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, working collaboratively with various agencies to ensure the best outcomes for those in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families.
Working closely with partners in health, education, and law enforcement to coordinate services.
Managing a caseload of complex cases, ensuring timely interventions and support.
Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy development.
Providing expert advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW).
Current registration with Social Work England.
Experience working within a children's social work setting, preferably in a MASH or safeguarding environment.
Strong assessment and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of child protection legislation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
