Trainee Registered Manager
for our children's home in
Bolton

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual ready to take the next step in their career and work towards full registration with Ofsted as a Registered Manager.
The Role
As a Trainee Registered Manager, you will work closely with an experienced senior leadership team to learn all aspects of running a successful children's residential home. You will be supported and mentored to develop the skills and knowledge required to become a fully Registered Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring a safe, caring, and positive environment for the young people
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of care professionals
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Children's Homes Regulations 2015
Develop and implement individualised care plans to support positive outcomes
Work closely with external agencies, families, and stakeholders
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a passionate individual with a strong background in children's residential care who is ready to step into a leadership role.
Essential Criteria:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior role within a children's residential setting
NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Working towards or willing to undertake Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Desirable:
Previous deputy manager experience
Knowledge of Ofsted inspection frameworks
