The Role

As a Waking Night Residential Support Worker, your role is to ensure a safe, calm, and supportive environment while young people sleep. Key responsibilities include:

Monitoring the wellbeing and safety of children throughout the night Providing emotional support when required Carrying out regular night-time checks, recording logs, and completing handovers Maintaining a trauma-informed, structured routine Supporting the transition from night to morning smoothly

Shift Pattern

Week 1: 3 nights (approximately 37.5 hours) Week 2: 4 nights (approximately 50 hours) Fixed, repeating rota designed to support consistency and work-life balance
