We're seeking an enthusiastic nurse to develop skills in caring for children and young people ages 3-25 with complex health needs like epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and physical disabilities.
We provide 24/7 specialist care across our school, residential, and short breaks services at Chailey Heritage Foundation. The role involves working in a supportive team helping young people express preferences and take part in activities like crafts, horse riding, swimming, day trips, and holidays.
No prior experience required--we value empathy, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn. You'll gain skills in catheterisation, tracheostomy care, ventilation, and seizure management. Gain experience in neurological care and access development opportunities to advance your career. Due to our rural location, transport access is essential. Free parking and EV charging available.
Please note this is a part-time vacancy therefore due to recent changes in UK immigration and visa rules this role is unlikely to be eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants who do not currently have the right to work in the UK may not be considered. Candidates requiring sponsorship should review the eligibility criteria on the gov.uk website before applying to assess their eligibility for a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role
