Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to materials management, inventory control, and logistics. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Perform materials handling tasks including loading and unloading goods from lorries. Accurately pick orders for dispatch, ensuring quality and accuracy. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain an organised warehouse environment, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met. Assist in conducting regular inventory checks and audits to ensure stock accuracy. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge and experience is desirable for equipment. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in loading the correct goods to lorries A proactive attitude towards safety practices within the warehouse environment. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
