Lets cut to the chase we need a proper Chiller Engineer whos confident with both air-cooled and water-cooled systems and doesnt flinch at a blinking fault code. You'll be covering the M4 corridor from Swansea to Swindon with the occasional hop down to Southampton. Youll be the go-to expert for keeping chillers cool and clients calmer.
What Youll Actually Be Doing
Youll be hands-on with servicing, maintaining and fault-finding across a variety of chiller systems Trane, Airedale, Climaveneta, York, Carrier... you name it. Youll be on the road solo, responding to both scheduled maintenance and those fun last-minute reactive jobs. Youll be using diagnostic software to sort the signal from the noise and get systems up and running fast.
Compliance matters so youll also be making sure everythings by the book (FGAS, site safety, the lot). Theres some paperwork and digital reporting too, but nothing a seasoned engineer cant handle. You'll have support from a solid ops structure, even though you're largely working independently.
What Youll Need to Have
F-Gas Category 1 certification (non-negotiable)
Solid experience with chiller servicing this isnt your first rodeo
Knowledge of VRV/VRF and split systems
Diagnostic skills that make manufacturer software your best mate
A full UK driving licence
Bonus points for experience with CRAC units, AHUs, or water-cooled/screw/scroll systems
