Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable Chocolate Room Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining chocolate processing machinery to ensure consistent product quality and efficient production flow.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a variety of chocolate production machines and equipment. Perform routine machine checks. Monitor production processes to ensure product quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications. Accurately measure and record ingredients, batch numbers, weights, and other production data. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures. Assist with machine cleaning, sanitation, and minor troubleshooting. Report equipment issues to maintenance or supervisory staff as needed. Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience operating food processing or chocolate machinery preferred but full training will be given. Basic mathematical skills for measuring ingredients and recording production data. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Good understanding of food safety, health and safety and quality assurance procedures The role involves frequent manual handling of loads upto 25kg and standing for long periods as part of the duty of the position. Fast paced food production environment Wear appropriate PPE Assist in maintaining a clean and organised workspace
