Key Responsibilities:
Lead weekly rehearsals:
Deliver fun, engaging 1.5-hour sessions. Preparation and lesson planning will be guided by your fellow choir leaders.
Inspire community:
Build camaraderie, foster confidence, and encourage joyful singing.
Teach harmonies:
Deliver high-quality vocal instruction to singers of varying abilities.
Coordinate performances:
Guide choirs through gigs and extraordinary musical experiences.
Manage admin:
Respond to member queries, promote local performances, and maintain communication.
What We're Looking For:
Essential Skills:
Proficient vocalist and guitarist
Fun, upbeat personality and excellent communication skills
Passionate, inspirational teacher with leadership qualities
Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
Desirable Background:
Experience as a gigging musician, music teacher, or choir leader (no prior choir-leading experience required)
Enthusiasm for community music and making a difference
