Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including simple festive cocktails, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods, demonstrating strong time management skills Upsell drinks and promote special offers to maximise sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts Handle cash and card transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures Use effective phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering guest inquiries over the phone Assist in merchandising displays to enhance the festive atmosphere and attract customers Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Experience

Previous experience as a bartender or in customer service roles is essential Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers from various backgrounds Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately Organisational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently and maintain a tidy workspace Time management skills to ensure prompt service during peak times Knowledge of merchandising techniques and upselling strategies is advantageous Excellent phone etiquette for reservations and guest inquiries
