As a Deli Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting in various food service operations. Your culinary experience and ability to manage time effectively will contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food items in accordance with food safety standards Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for efficient transaction processing Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling menu items Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas Support team members in food preparation and ensure a smooth workflow Uphold high standards of customer service, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns promptly Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of food products

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively Excellent customer service skills Knowledge of Haccp and food safety regulations Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a quick service or fast food environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 37.5 per week
