Job Overview

We are looking for Saturday and Sunday daytime helpers in particular for our technicolour hut at the one and only Edinburgh Christmas Market located in East Princes Street Gardens.

Diedododa is an artist run print studio selling fine art prints and and other joyful designed products. The event (and our hut) gets very busy on the weekends, so a quick thinking enthusiastic attitude is key. If you like a bustling, arty ski chalet vibe, then helping out at our print paradise is the place for you!

The market runs from November 15th to January 4th.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily operations, assisting customers, and bringing good vibes to the hut.

Responsibilities

Assist customers in locating products and answering their queries effectively Restock merchandise and ensure displaus are neat and attractive. Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle payments securely Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment for all visitors

Experience

Previous hospitality or retail experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Organised with good attention to detail to ensure the hut looks delicious Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 1.5 month

Pay: 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
