Sales Assistant - Christmas Cabin (Southbank)

6-hour shifts (4pm-10pm), fixed days each week. Availability on weekends is a must.

About the Role

We're looking for friendly, confident Sales Assistants who genuinely enjoy talking to people to join our team at our Christmas cabin on the Southbank. You'll be chatting with customers, helping them choose gifts, keeping the cabin tidy and stocked, and making sure every visitor leaves feeling welcomed and looked after.

This is a hands-on role in a busy festive setting, perfect for someone who's naturally sociable, loves interacting with the public, and thrives in a lively atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Warmly welcome customers and actively engage with them throughout their visit Assist customers in choosing gifts and provide excellent, personable service at all times Memorise prices and handle card transactions accurately Keep clear, accurate records of all sales each day Organise merchandise on the sales floor and maintain visual standards according to company guidelines Support the team in reaching sales targets by confidently speaking with customers and promoting products Restock and display products throughout the day Maintain a clean, tidy and inviting cabin area Be punctual, reliable, and represent the brand with a friendly attitude Assist with setting up and closing down the cabin before/after your shift

What We're Looking For

Previous customer service or retail experience is essential Someone who loves talking to people: friendly, approachable, and confident starting conversations with customers Reliable and committed to agreed working days (weekend availability is essential) Comfortable working outdoors: it gets cold, so warm layers are a must! Good attention to detail, especially when recording sales and managing stock Capability to stand for six hours and lift weights as required
