We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated staff to join our team during the period for Harrogate Christmas Market. We are taking over an area to provide bar, catering and retail units.

This role is ideal for students and individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a team member, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience while adhering to company standards and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding hospitality to all guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously. Serve in accordance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards with great customer service. Assist with basic food preparation and presentation, ensuring all items are served fresh and appealing. Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks. Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of both staff and customers.

Experience

Previous experience in bars is essential but other retail units a happy disposition is very useful. Familiarity with food safety practices is an advantage. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills, allowing you to engage effectively with guests and colleagues alike. Pay: 12.21-13.45 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
