GRM CIB is the team responsible for analyzing financial assigning ratings, and establishing the maximum risk appetite, both for credit and settlement.


About the job:



The candidate will join a team of 12 people where staying up-to-date on markets, regulations, and different product typologies is key, contributing to healthy and profitable business growth.


As a financial credit risk analyst, the main responsibilities of the position include:


Analysis and preparation of risk proposals in terms of limits & presentation to the committees, summarized in the Financial Program. For this, you will perform an analysis of the banking industry (by country), the individual credit profile of each entity, calculate the internal rating, and define limits/maximum risk appetite per product. Fluid communication with different business areas to address risk needs prior to their approval in committee, including business and other GRM across geographies. G ood communication with other credit risk teams across geographies, who in turn are interlocutors with the local business teams. Furthermore, you will participate in transversal multidisciplinary projects, such as the development and implementation of the New Internal Rating Model and helping to introduce the IA in our GRM process.

What are we looking for?



Higher degree in Business Administration / finance, preferably studied in English (ICADE, ISADE or similar). Positively valued having completed a semester at an international university, preferably in English. Previous experience of 1 year (including internship period) in a Credit Risk Management department in a top-tier Financial Institution is required, with a focus on financial analysis of financial entities (banks, insurance companies and/or funds). An advanced level of English (minimum C1) is required and other additional languages (B2) are valued. Additionally, knowledge of the following office skills will be required: PowerPoint (advanced), Excel (advanced), Capital IQ Pro (Proficiency), as well as IA skills to help introduce it in the GRM process.
