Summer Temp Job - June - August 2025 - Thistly Cross Cider - Full-time 40 hr/week

Thistly Cross Cider are seeking a motivated individual to join us over the summer months as a full-time Cidery Operative to work within our production team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for any candidate seeking to gain hands-on technical experience within beverage production. A collaborative work ethic and can-do attitude is essential for this role.

When:

Start June 2025. 40 hours per week. Fixed term contract until September 2025.

Where:

Thistly Cross Cider, The Works, Implement Road, West Barns, Dunbar, East Lothian, EH42 1UN.

What will you be doing?:

General production duties including; kegging and bag-in-box filling operations, keg and plant cleaning, cask filling and handling and providing assistance across all areas of cider production. Following agreed standard operating procedures and sampling schedules for quality and process controls as well as maintaining accurate production records at all times. This role requires regular lifting of kegs and BIB's which can weigh as much as approx. 40kg.

Preferable skills:

Previous experience in FMCG/Food & Beverage production (desirable but not essential). Forklift licence (desirable but no essential).
