Statom Group North Ltd. is a civil engineering contractor specializing in Remediation, Groundwork, and Structures. We are currently looking for a skilled

CIS Formwork Carpenter

with a CSCS Blue Card to join our dynamic team.


In this role, you will be responsible for constructing and installing formwork for concrete structures, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety on-site. Your expertise in formwork carpentry will be essential in supporting our construction projects, contributing to our commitment to quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:



Construct, install, and dismantle formwork for concrete foundations, walls, and other structures. Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate formwork installation. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to perform carpentry tasks. Conduct regular quality checks on formwork to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to ensure the timely completion of work. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment on-site. Report any site issues or concerns to management promptly.

Requirements



Qualifications and Skills:



Valid CSCS Blue Card (or equivalent certification). Proven experience as a formwork carpenter, ideally in the construction sector. Strong knowledge of formwork systems, materials, and construction practices. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment safely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks required for the role.
