Job Title:

Cisco Engineer / Network Engineer

0-12 years (Junior / Mid / Senior considered)

Key Responsibilities



Network Operations & Support



Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers). Provide L1-L3 support depending on experience level. Diagnose network issues and perform root-cause analysis.

Configuration & Deployment



Configure and install Cisco network equipment, including routing, switching, wireless, and firewalls. Deploy upgrades, patches, and firmware across network devices. Support LAN/WAN/VPN and SD-WAN setups.

Network Design & Implementation

(for mid-senior levels)

Participate in network architecture planning and capacity management. Design and implement scalable Cisco network solutions. Support cloud-networking integrations (Azure/AWS/GCP).

Security & Compliance



Ensure network security best practices (ACLs, firewalls, segmentation). Implement Cisco security technologies (ASA, Firepower, ISE) depending on experience. Maintain compliance with internal and external standards.

Documentation & Collaboration



Maintain detailed network documentation: diagrams, policies, procedures, change logs. Work closely with IT, Cloud, Security, and project teams across the business. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers (for senior roles).

Required Skills



Technical Skills



Experience with Cisco networking technologies (any experience level welcome). Understanding of routing & switching concepts (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, QoS). Hands-on with Cisco IOS / NX-OS. Knowledge of firewalls (Cisco ASA / Firepower) -- preferred. Experience with SD-WAN, VPN, MPLS, VoIP or wireless technologies -- advantageous. Familiarity with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Cisco Prime). Basic scripting/automation (Python, Ansible) -- nice to have for senior level.

Soft Skills



Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and remote-collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and handle incidents proactively. Attention to detail and documentation skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 33,000.00-75,000.00 per year
