Post No. EE047 - City Services Highways Inspector.



We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the street works team over in the ever growing city of Newport.



The applicant must have experience within the street works field along with knowledge of highway construction and in depth

knowledge of the legistaltion associated with this post, such as Highways Act 1980, NRSWA 1991 Traffic Management act 2004.



Newport is a growing city with many major projects taking place in 2025 the candidate must have the ability to co-ordinate these projects along with other events taking place throughout the city so project management will be an essential and vital role to this position.



You will have the ability and knowledge of all forms of licensing on the highway from skips to crane applications and the ability to assess and approve and monitor what is placed on the network.
