Civil Enforcement Officer

Contract Type: Permanent (full & part time)

Permanent Salary: 27,130 - 28,720 (pro rata for part time)

Mole Valley District Council is looking for a Civil Enforcement Officer to join our Parking Team.

As a Civil Enforcement Officer you will enforce the Council's car parks ensuring customers are parked correctly, providing a friendly and courteous service issuing Penalty Charge Notices where needed. You will also check the pay and display machines and ensure the car parks are maintained to a high standard. Patrols are both on foot and mobile.

The role operates on a shift basis working Monday to Saturday. Officers are based in Dorking, Surrey but will need to be willing to travel throughout the district. A company vehicle will be provided when travelling as part of the mobile patrol.

This role would suit someone who;

Enjoys working outside in all weathers. Wants to join a reliable, friendly and supportive team, you will play a key role in providing an essential service. Has good customer service skills and enjoys working with the public. Has good observation and accuracy abilities. Basic computer skills for using a handheld device Is self-motivated and resilient. Holds a full UK driving licence.
