Job Description

Civil Enforcement Officers are required to work full time across Sandwell. 42.5 hours a week.
Key responsibilities:

Travelling across the borough at different locations to ensure that parking restrictions are applied To enforce all on-street permitted parking regulations in all controlled zones, in accordance with the Traffic Management Act Providing good customer service to the community Issuing tickets to vehicles that do not comply to standards using a handheld device Taking photos for recording purposes Carry out checks of pay and display machines As required assist in cash collection from car park machines To a radio, body worn video device and HHCT equipment in a proper manner in accordance with procedures and safeguard same from damage and misuse Must be able to remain calm in stressful situations To attend, when necessary, adjudication hearings to give supporting information in connection with contested PCN's
The ideal candidates:

Will have a good standard of English reading and writing skills Be friendly and have good problem solving skills Motivated to work well independently Experienced in working with the public to provide good customer service Smart appearance Driver is desirable but not essential
Training is available for successful applicants.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 27,000.00-29,000.00 per year
