Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to design, plan, and supervise the development of construction and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

Create detailed engineering designs and construction documentation in line with project goals and client requirements.

Review architectural drawings, project designs, and 3D models to integrate infrastructure systems effectively.

Interpret survey results, geological studies, and topographic maps to inform project planning, considering environmental and site-specific factors.

Prepare cost estimates for labor, materials, and resources to aid in project budgeting and scheduling.

Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments to determine project sustainability.

Draft and submit comprehensive engineering plans, technical reports, and project timelines for approval.

Oversee on-site activities, ensuring construction aligns with engineering specifications, safety guidelines, and legal standards.

Lead and mentor construction teams, offering technical advice and support throughout project phases.

Enforce regulatory compliance and conduct regular audits to maintain quality and safety standards.

Act as the primary contact for project-related inquiries, delivering clear and timely engineering guidance.

Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure all projects meet current building codes and legislation.

Maintain accurate and organized project documentation using specialized software systems.

Work closely with internal departments to meet project milestones and support the company's overall objectives.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Proficient in design software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools.

Strong analytical thinking and effective problem-solving capabilities.

Expertise in drafting, site planning, and infrastructure design.

Knowledgeable about building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; a team player.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of relevant work experience in infrastructure or construction engineering.

Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred or in progress.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 39,870.28-72,680.67 per year
