Role Overview

We are looking for a Civil Engineer to support our technical team in producing high-quality drainage and opening-up survey reports. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role that suits someone who enjoys turning raw site data into clear, accurate and professional technical reports.

You will work closely with our drainage survey engineers and site investigation teams, reviewing CCTV footage, interpreting site findings, and ensuring all reports are delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the production of drainage survey reports, including reviewing CCTV footage, coding defects and interpreting layouts. Support the preparation of opening-up works reports, ensuring structural findings, measurements, and photographs are accurately presented. Review site notes, drawings, photographs, and video files to compile complete factual reports. Prepare basic sketches, drainage schematics, and layout plans as required. Liaise with site engineers to clarify technical details and ensure completeness of information. Ensure all reports meet Integrum's quality standards and client requirements. Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting templates and processes.

Requirements

Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Understanding of drainage systems, construction methods, and structural elements. Experience with CCTV drainage surveys (coding experience desirable but not essential). Ability to interpret technical site information and present it clearly in written form. Competent use of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work to deadlines. Good communication skills and a practical, problem-solving mindset.

Desirable (Not Essential)

Experience with WinCan or similar drainage reporting software. Knowledge of NHBC standards, Building Regulations, or insurance-related investigation work. Previous experience producing factual engineering reports.

The stated salary range is intended as a guideline; however, we are open to negotiation for candidates with exceptional skills, experience, and industry knowledge.
