Deane Public Works Ltd is a multi-award-winning family-run company which has built a reputation for excellence in civil engineering construction for nearly 60 years.

JOB BASED IN NORTHERN IRELAND. Candidates must be UK/ROI Residents or eligible to live and work in the UK.

The Civil/ Site Engineer will be based on NI sites working on a variety of Civil & Framework Projects.

The responsibilities of the Civil/ Site Engineer will include but not be limited to:

Ensure HSEQ requirements are adhered to. Undertake Surveying & setting out duties. Check Drawings & Quantities. Schedule selected materials for ordering from the procurement department. Plan work and efficiently organise site operations in order to meet agreed deadlines. Liaise with consultants and sub-contractors engaged in the project. Rectify any unexpected technical difficulties. Arrange testing of materials.
The successful Civil/ Site Engineer will have the following skill & Experience:

A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 3+ years post graduate experience in a similar role with a Building/ Civil Engineering background. Proficiency in relevant software and engineering tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. A proactive approach to challenges and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
