Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in civil engineering principles and demonstrate proficiency in various engineering software tools.

JOB BASED IN NORTHERN IRELAND. Candidates must be UK/ROI Residents or eligible to live and work in the UK.

Duties

Ensure HSEQ requirements are adhered to. Undertake Surveying & setting out duties. Check Drawings & Quantities. Schedule selected materials for ordering from the procurement department. Plan work and efficiently organise site operations in order to meet agreed deadlines. Liaise with consultants and sub-contractors engaged in the project. Rectify any unexpected technical difficulties. Arrange testing of materials.

Skills

A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 3+ years post graduate experience in a similar role with a Building/ Civil Engineering background. Proficiency in relevant software and engineering tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. A proactive approach to challenges and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
