Key Responsibilities
Design of drainage, services, road infrastructure, and earthworks across residential, commercial, industrial, retail, and leisure developments.
Preparation of technical drawings and documents from concept through to construction.
Production of Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Statements, and Service Strategy Reports.
Design of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS).
Technical design and detailing for Section 278, Section 38, Section 104, and Section 185 agreements, including securing approvals.
Negotiation with highway authorities, drainage bodies, and the Environment Agency.
Site audits and feasibility assessments.
Supporting and mentoring junior team members, while maintaining client relationships.
About You
Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with
2+ years' experience
in a civil engineering role.
Strong skills in report writing, AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, AutoTrack, and ground modelling software.
Knowledge of national guidance such as DMRB, Manual for Streets, Sewers for Adoption, TSRGD, and Building Regulations.
Confident communicator with strong project and client management skills.
Commercially aware, proactive, and a strong team player.
