Key Responsibilities

Design and plan residential construction projects, including foundations, structures, and site layouts. Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and calculations for accuracy and feasibility. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, inspect work, and ensure alignment with project plans. Collaborate with architects, site managers, and other tradespeople to deliver seamless projects. Address on-site challenges, adapting designs or methods to meet project needs. Maintain detailed records of designs, progress, and materials used. Ensure all work complies with UK building regulations, health, and safety standards.
Skills & Experience

A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Previous experience in residential construction or civil engineering projects (preferred). Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and materials. Proficiency in preparing and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Solid problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and budgeting. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
