Civil Engineering Technician
Location: Cardiff
The Role
A built environment consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to join their Cardiff team. The successful candidate will produce 2D and 3D civil engineering drawings for highways, drainage, earthworks and external works across residential and education projects. Current workload includes school and college developments, S278 highway schemes and SAB drainage designs.
What You'll Need

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD with civil engineering experience
  • Familiarity with Civil 3D and Infodrainage (or willingness to learn)
  • Experience in below?ground utility modelling using Civil 3D
  • Previous work on highway, drainage and earthworks projects
  • Knowledge of Keys and TSRGD signage, DMRB and Manual for Streets standards
  • Relevant engineering qualification (HNC or equivalent)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow QA and document management procedures
