Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting civil engineering projects through effective design, analysis, and project management. This position requires proficiency in various software applications and a solid understanding of civil engineering principles.

Duties

Assist in the preparation of technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation. Conduct land surveying and site assessments to gather necessary data for project development. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within specifications. Utilise ArcGIS for mapping and spatial analysis to support project planning. Perform calculations and analyses using Mathcad to ensure accuracy in designs. Support system design processes by providing technical insights and recommendations. Maintain detailed records of project progress, changes, and communications with stakeholders. Participate in site visits to monitor construction progress and compliance with design specifications.

Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, ArcGIS, and other CAD software. Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts, including construction methods and materials. Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Solid mathematical skills for performing complex calculations related to engineering tasks. Familiarity with land surveying techniques and equipment. Ability to interpret technical documents and schematics accurately. Strong communication skills for liaising with team members and external partners. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
