Role Overview:
An established and highly rated national law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Lawyer to join its expanding Consumer Litigation team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to handle a varied caseload of civil disputes, including subrogated recoveries, housing disrepair, debt recovery, and enforcement matters. The firm offers full retraining for solicitors from a personal injury background, a strong career progression structure, and an uncapped commission scheme rewarding every successful case.
Candidate Profile / Experience Needed:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (minimum 2 years' PQE)
- Proven experience in managing a varied civil litigation caseload
- Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Confident advising clients and conducting hearings
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload under pressure
- Experience using Proclaim case management system advantageous
- Salary up to 55,000 (dependent on experience)
- Hybrid working - 3 office / 2 home days after probation
- Uncapped commission scheme with no thresholds or caps
- 23 days' holiday, rising to 26 with service, plus buy-back options and your birthday off
