Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing various civil engineering projects, especially residential development related ones. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent project management skills, and proficiency in various engineering software. You will work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the successful completion of residential projects that meet safety standards and client specifications.

Duties

Design and develop civil engineering projects including roads, bridges, and drainage systems. Utilise software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation to create detailed schematics and system designs. Conduct land surveying and site assessments to gather data for project planning. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of projects. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure designs are feasible and meet regulatory requirements. Prepare technical reports and documentation related to project progress and outcomes. Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is essential. Proficiency in engineering software including AutoCAD, Mathcad, ArcGIS, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation is highly desirable. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively. Excellent mathematical skills for calculations related to design and construction. Familiarity with construction processes, materials, and regulations is beneficial. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate design work. Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders. A valid driving licence may be required for site visits.
