This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion -- and have the opportunity to
build and develop your own team
around you.
You'll oversee a range of complex civils projects, typically valued between
100k and 5m
, within the
Detailed Design & Build
framework, working closely with our established delivery teams and the client's key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage civils projects from early contractor involvement through to completion.
Oversee multiple projects ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
Manage project budgets and monitor costs to maintain profitability.
Ensure all health, safety and environmental standards are met through close collaboration with the SHEQ team.
Oversee the preparation and compliance of RAMS, CPPs, and temporary works.
Support tendering and pre-construction processes including developing scopes, programmes, and resource plans.
Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring sufficient labour allocation across projects.
Work with commercial teams to support financial reporting and business management reviews.
Drive continuous improvement and promote best practice across all projects.
About You
Extensive experience managing civils projects from conception to completion.
Strong background in pre-construction, scope development, and tender support.
Excellent knowledge of
CDM Regulations
and temporary works management.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to build, mentor, and manage teams.
Experience writing and implementing
RAMS
and
Construction Phase Plans
.
Strong understanding of risk management and quality assurance.
