We are currently recruiting for a

Civils Drainage Engineer

to join our team in Yorkshire, you will be working within a team to carry out groundwork tasks which include; Digging Trenches, Excavations, Laying Pipes, Spot Repairs and surface preparation for repair. Ensuring that you are providing exceptional customer service across the Bradford Area,

What we offer:



Location: Bradford, Yorkshire. Hours: 50 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm with a paid lunch). Overtime also available at time and a half. Salary: 14 - 17 p/h depending on experience Weekly pay

About the Role



As a Civils Drainage Engineer, you will:

Carry out groundwork tasks such as digging trenches, laying pipes, spot repairs and preparing surfaces for construction. Install and maintain over-pumping systems and maintain safe excavations with installation of ground support Updating and completing site documentation using electronic tablet Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to assist with various tasks Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition. Wearing and maintaining any Personal Protective Equipment provided for your protection at all times. Ensuring on and off sites are live to avoid any penalties with highways permits Reading and understand Drainage plans Recording photographic evidence of jobs performed and completed

Experience and Qualifications:



Full UK driving license (Required) Civils background ideally from Utilities
Training will be provided, the ideal candidate will come with a number of tickets.

NPORS, Banksman. Manual Handling, Emergency First Aid, NRSWA, EUSR National Water Hygiene, Asbestos Awareness, CPC Driver Training (HGV only), Slinger and Signaller, Abrasive Wheels, Calm Water, EUSR Safe Dig - Cat & Genny, EUSR Water SHEA, Face Fit Tested - FFP3, Dumper Wheeled Forward Tipping, EUSR Shuttering & Shoring - Deep Excavation, Excavator Above10Ton - Tracked, Excavator Below10Ton - Tracked, NRSWA - Operative Units (LA,01-06), Sygma Solutions, Confined Spaces, SSSTS or SMSTS, Excavator used as Crane Lifting Operations
