Elcom Networks is seeking experienced and qualified Civils Operatives to join our growing team in Scotland on a self-employed basis. As a Civils Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out street works and related tasks, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Long term opportunity for the right individuals

Responsibilities:

Perform street works and civil engineering tasks.
Communicate effectively with clients.
Adhere to health and safety regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and site inspections.
Ensure all work complies with relevant standards and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of work completed.
Excavating and backfilling trenches.
Installing and repairing underground utilities (e.g., water, gas, electric).
Operating and maintaining machinery and equipment.
Setting out and leveling sites.
Laying kerbs and paving.
Traffic management and control.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Be comfortable utilising specific software to record any work undertaken
Requirements:

Clean UK driving license.
NSRWA LA, 01-08,
SA006
Emergency First Aid.
Confident in street works
Strong commitment to health and safety.
Prepared to work overtime and have flexibility to work unsocial hours.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
