As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced
Civils Site Engineer
to join our passionate team based from our HQ in Uddingston with regular travel to sites throughout the UK.

The Role
Carry out pre-works site inspections and liaise with the Project/Site Manager to ensure readiness
Audit contractors' activities, including traffic management, excavations, backfill and reinstatement in line with NRSWA and HAUC standards
Coordinate with utility providers, local authorities, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery
Manage your own workload to maintain efficiency and meet deadlines
Ensure teams, equipment, and documentation are audited in line with schedules
Ensure all RAMS and job packs are followed on-site
Complete on-site risk assessments and uphold all Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures
Report and escalate any HSE concerns to the Project Manager or address with site teams as appropriate
Attend and contribute to site meetings, pre-starts, briefings, and toolbox talks
Monitor project progress, flag potential risks, and support delay mitigation Inspect tools and equipment for compliance, including calibration and certification
Ensure site instructions are followed, and operatives have adequate PPE and materials.
What you will need
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Office 365, and project management software.
Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry
Valid Emergency First Aid Certificate
Knowledge of Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS)
Streetworks - NRSWA as appropriate
Full UK Driving License
COSHH/IOSH Trained
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
