Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee and manage civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties

Supervise daily operations on site, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies. Manage a team of workers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align project objectives. Monitor project progress and report on any issues or delays to senior management. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any incidents that occur on site. Facilitate communication between team members and resolve any conflicts that may arise.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the civil engineering or construction industry. Strong ability to manage teams effectively, fostering a collaborative work environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations pertaining to civil works. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders. Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or a related field would be advantageous but not mandatory.
