R&R Civils & Utilities Ltd are looking to recruit experienced civils teams to provide support to a key client within the water/wastewater sector, general job details include:
Start Date: 26/01/2026
Rates (Subcontract/Self Employed): 380 per gang split (dependant on experience/tickets)
Duration: Temporary or Permanent
Working Hours: 50 hours (7.00am-5.00pm)
Annual bonuses
Overtime available
Weekend working available
Standby/Call out available
Key Accountabilities:
Carry out general civils work and various tasks relative to the water/wastewater sector, as directed by the Construction Manager/Site Supervisor, including but not limited to:
Preparing site compounds
Installing haul roads
Installation/Repair of drains and sewers
Install and maintain over-pumping systems
Installation/Repair of manhole chambers (GRP & Concrete)
Deep Ex including installation of trench support systems
Compiling site documentation using electronic tablet
Ensure timesheets are submitted accurately and on time
Adhere to company absence reporting procedure
Work independently as well as part of a team
Liaison with customers
General responsibilities:
To adhere to high standards of Health and Safety in all its activities to ensure compliance with all appropriate legislation

Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years groundwork/drainage experience - Essential
A valid UK driving licence - Essential
In date CSCS card - Essential
Confined Spaces (Medium Risk) - Preferred
CPCS/NPORS (360 below 10 tonne, above 10 tonne advantageous) - Essential
SSSTS - Preferred
NRASWA Streetworks - Essential
Cat & Genny
Abrasive Wheels
Manual Handling
First Aid
Deep Ex/Trench Support
