The Fixer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing facilities, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Duties

Perform roofing repairs and maintenance as required. Conduct plumbing tasks, including installation and repair of fixtures and piping. Execute welding tasks for structural repairs and fabrication projects. Carry out electrical work, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. Engage in carpentry work, including building and repairing structures. Handle plastering duties to ensure smooth finishes on walls and ceilings. Fabricate components as needed for specific projects or repairs. Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements. Undertake construction painting to maintain aesthetic standards of facilities. Perform masonry work, including bricklaying and stonework as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, or related fields is essential. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and maintenance tasks. Strong understanding of carpentry, plastering, fabrication, construction painting, and masonry techniques. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. A proactive approach to health and safety regulations within the workplace.
