Job Overview


We are seeking a versatile and skilled Fixer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a variety of repair, maintenance, and fabrication tasks across construction sites and facilities. This role requires a proactive individual with a broad skill set in trades carpentry The Fixer will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety, functionality, and integrity of our projects through expert craftsmanship and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities



Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks to high standards. Fabricate components and structures using welding, schematics interpretation, and construction techniques. Conduct construction painting and plastering work as required. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute projects accurately. Assist in the installation of fixtures, fittings, and structural elements on-site. Troubleshoot issues with existing structures or systems and implement effective solutions promptly. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements



Proven experience cladding, carpentry Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in various trades. Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints accurately. Experience with fabrication processes and the use of welding equipment is highly desirable. Knowledge of construction painting techniques and plastering is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills with an adaptable approach to different repair tasks. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications or qualifications in trades such as carpentry, electrical installation or welding are preferred but not essential. Physical fitness to undertake manual labour tasks including lifting heavy materials safely. A proactive attitude towards health & safety protocols on site.
