Job Description
Here at Halton Housing we are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Claims Advisor to work across our vibrant organisation. What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do:
- Act as the coordinator and point of contact for all Disrepair and Fit for Habitation standard claims and enquiries
- Log, coordinate, monitor and report on all cases to the Team Leader
- Raise any works orders as per the disrepair surveyors\xe2\x80\x99 recommendations and then plan as necessary all works for delivery
- See the orders through to completion on time and to strict deadlines
- Go the extra mile in making sure residents go from being dissatisfied to a positive outcome as quickly as possible
- Experience of working within a customer facing role
- An understanding and awareness of Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) through either experience or research
- Good customer service and communication skills (internal and external) demonstrating understanding and support whilst handling/resolving difficult situations or conflict
- Ability to follow defined processes and procedures in an accurate and consistent manner
- Ability to use or willingness to learn basic Microsoft packages
