Description



As a Claims Apprentice, you'll be managing claims across a diverse range of business classes. This role is ideal for someone ready to jump into the insurance industry through an apprenticeship and make a significant impact! You'll have the chance to complete a L3 Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship & study for your CII exams.



Start and manage claims from beginning to end - You'll help set up new insurance claims and keep track of them throughout their journey, making sure everything runs smoothly. Keep things organised with a diary system - You'll manage key dates, reminders, and updates so nothing gets missed. Handle real international claims - You'll work on a portfolio of insurance and reinsurance claims from around the world, always aiming to meet deadlines and deliver top-quality service. Work closely with your team - You'll keep internal teams updated on what's happening with claims and make sure everyone's in the loop. Support with reporting and analysis - You'll help prepare and review management information. Talk to the experts - You'll be in regular contact with insurers, clients, brokers, and other professionals, building your confidence and communication skills. Process settlements - You'll help make sure payments are handled correctly and on time. Support your team whenever needed - Whether it's helping your Team Lead or jumping in to assist colleagues, you'll be a key part of the team. Take on extra tasks to grow your skills - You'll be trusted with additional responsibilities that help you learn and develop.

Entry requirements



Role Requirements

At least 5 A-C equivalent Grade GCSE's including English and Maths. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Familiarity with MS Office suite. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, fostering positive working relationships. Proactive attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges.

Training to be provided



The successful candidate will complete a level 3 Insurance Practitioner apprenticeship.
