Based at BCA Automotive's Kirk Sandall Depot, the Claims Handler is responsible for working as part of a team covering all aspects of claims processing, administration and investigation
Reporting to the Claims Team Manager, the post holder's key responsibilities will be:
Recording, investigating and administering damage claims for vehicles transported by BCA Automotive and their Sub Contract partners. Capturing information accurately and adhering to vehicle manufacturer claims guidelines and timescales to achieve service levels.
Log, process and investigate claims in line with the contracted service level agreements.
Communicate effectively with 3rd party claims handlers and customer queries/complaints
Continually update claims information on the system and file all claims related correspondence. Communicate delays/concerns to Claims Team Manager.
Maintenance of databases and internal claims system. Logging checking and processing invoices for the accounts department.Liaising with other depots drivers and contacts to aid claims investigation.

TThe The ideal candidate will possess:
A good standard of education.
Proficient user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Previous experience working with claims is advantageous
Excellent communication skills
Experience of dealing with external and internal suppliers & customers.
Strong attention to detail,
Ability to follow processes and procedures
Must work well as part of a team
Ability to prioritise workloads
