to join our Property Claims Team. You will be responsible for investigating claims by gathering evidence from claimants and clients to support the settlement of property claims in line with policy wording.
As a Property Claims Handler, you will:
Review insurance policies
Investigate and assess claims
Liaise with policyholders, contractors, brokers, and other stakeholders
Negotiate settlements
Manage the claims process from start to finish, ensuring all parties are kept informed of progress
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with clients, customers, and insurance providers, building long-lasting relationships
Act as the main point of contact throughout the insurance claim journey, coordinating communication with customers, clients, brokers, solicitors, underwriters, loss adjusters, and third parties
Manage your inbox and respond to enquiries from cover holders, clients, and brokers
Take ownership of claims from start to completion, including processing, monitoring, and negotiating settlements
Handle case management end to end, supporting negotiations with clients, underwriters, and loss adjusters
Investigate all claims, decide on liability, and ensure evidence is gathered and recorded accurately in line with compliance and regulatory requirements
Assess property damage, determine the cause of loss, and provide recommendations for coverage to facilitate settlements
Effectively manage complaint cases
Apply your insurance knowledge and understanding of the claims management process
Skills and Experience
Previous claims experience is

Ability to prioritise workload and communicate effectively within the team
