Spectrum Insurance Services are a provider of value added products via a variety of pipelines to dealers and consumers. We are looking for a qualified, experienced Claims Manager.

Job Overview


As part of a Company restructure we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Claims Manager to oversee the claims process within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organisational skills, ensuring that all claims are processed efficiently and accurately. This role requires a blend of clerical experience and the ability to analyse complex information, making it essential for maintaining high standards of service and compliance.

Responsibilities



Over seeing the entire process from initial reporting to final settlement, ensuring timely and accurate handling of claims. Leading and managing a team of claims, providing guidance, training ,and performance management. Assessing claims based on policy terms and conditions, investigating potential fraud, and making decisions on approvals or declinatures. Ensuring that all claims are handled in accordance with company policies, insurance regulations, and legal requirements. Interacting with policyholders, customers and others, providing updates, addressing inquiries, and resolving disputes. Maintaining accurate claims files, tracking progress, and generating reports where required. Carry out claims audits. Monitor service levels. Monitor average claim value. Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with claims, such as fraudulent activity or high value claims. Developing and refining claims handling policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance. Monitoring team performance, setting goals, and providing feedback. Ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively and develop training plans. Actively seek ways to improve customer satisfaction. Any adhoc duties.

Qualifications



A recognised qualification related to motor vehicle repairs. Experience of working in an independent vehicle repair workshop or main dealer service centre as a manager or controller. Proven analysis skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. Prior clerical experience in a similar role is highly desirable. Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and team members. Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results. The salary will be negotiable dependent on experience.

This role will be office based, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
